One of the first things a new business has to do is to get business cards printed. These are a necessity but now there is something else equally important - getting your company details available on the internet. Web and email addresses are now just as vital as telephone numbers on your business cards.

The Internet Starter package includes:

• One domain - If you want to tell people where to find out more about your business or contact you what's easier for them to remember, something like: www.a-bookbinder.co.uk or a telephone number? You need your web address on all advertising material, business cards, letterheads. What's more if someone searched Google for your business you've a good chance of being found. We’ll help you choose an address and we’ll buy it for you.
• One page website - That's about the same as what you could fit on an A4 page, for example a logo, a photo that represents what you do and up to 250 words of descriptive text.
• One email address - What looks the most professional, something like john.smith@a-bookbinder.co.uk or john2867@aol.com? No contest! But not only that. If you used john2867@aol.com on your printed sales material but then moved from AOL to another provider for your internet connection you'd lose your AOL email address. You’d need new stationery. Anyone who knew your old address would be unable to contact you - john.smith@a-bookbinder.co.uk would be yours forever.
• Web hosting - Included in the cost is 12 months physical hosting of your web page on a fast high-availability web server.

How long does it take? We will register a suitable domain name immediately upon payment. Your web-page and email will become available within two working days. Printing the Business stationery you have ordered from Prestige Printers can start as soon as the domain name has been bought. Initially the web page will show basic contact details. We will add your logo, photos, text when you provide them.

Isn't it expensive to get on the internet? No, you get all of the above for only £100 +vat. Just compare that with the charges of on-line "yellow pages" style business directories. £400 a year just for adding a web-address to the yell.com online directory!
